Grief Support
When a family turns to us in a time of need it is our responsibility to care for both the loved one who has died and
those, who are left behind. We take a great deal of pride in both roles and they are of equal importance to us. While one
aspect of our service is completed at the time of the funeral, there is more to be done for those who remain. Grieving takes
time and understanding; we offer guidance, resources and understanding to those coping with a loss in today's busy world
where traditional sources of support may be lacking.
Community Education
Each of us is often affected by death. It may not be someone we know well - or at all - but when those around us suffer
the loss of a loved one, it touches us. We believe that education can help to lessen the fears and anxieties we experience
at such a time.
Bell's and Meadow's Funeral Homes offer a public education program providing knowledgeable speakers to any group, school
or workplace. We offer a variety of presentations ranging from informal talks to more detailed programs, depending upon the
needs and interests of the audience. Understanding grief, meaningful ceremonies, supporting the bereaved and preplanning a
funeral are commonly requested topics.
